What We Like About Trello
Trello has been a major inspiration for Klaro Cards. We particularly appreciate:
- Its ease of use
- Its visually appealing design
- Its founder, Joel Spolsky
What We Like Less About Trello
Klaro Cards was created because Trello has some limitations:
- Trello does not scale well when teams or the number of tickets grow.
- Trello is not fully configurable. It is closer to a simple Kanban tool than a database. Predefined fields always exist, and custom fields do not have the same status.
- Since its acquisition by Atlassian, Trello’s terms of service have shown less respect for user data.
- Since its acquisition by Atlassian, Trello has lost much of its former simplicity.
