Monday.com is a project management and collaboration platform that enables teams to plan, track, and organize their work visually and intuitively.
Monday is a team task-tracking tool that is largely preconfigured.
Klaro Cards is a fully configurable database tool. Team workflow management is a specific use case for which preconfigured templates are available.
The tool provides a clear and relatively intuitive predefined structure for team task tracking.
Strategic dashboards allow for effective managerial reporting.
Its marketing campaigns are energetic and powerful.
Despite an appearance of flexibility, Monday ultimately reduces everything to task tracking, assignees, and deadlines.
Its interface is not particularly user-friendly and offers limited space for information display.
Its privacy policy is overly permissive for the publisher, allowing the use of personal data and project content for its own objectives.
Much like Asana, Monday perceives the world through projects, tasks, assignees, and deadlines. This is evident from the home screen:
Monday's List View displays all tasks within a project, grouped by default categories. It is possible to organize tasks using data fields, including date fields (e.g., this week, next week). However, full customization is not always possible.
The Kanban View allows users to track task progress. However, only this specific field type can be used to define columns—tasks cannot be grouped by assignee, deadline, or other categories in this view.
Filters are functional, and a "quick" version allows for fast selection across all fields. While the ergonomics are not outstanding—being less convenient than Klaro Cards—it is an improvement over some competing tools.
A task can contain a more extensive description. By default, the view appears almost empty. Users can display the task's field list via a separate widget. Other widgets, such as those for "Quotes and Invoices," are available but may not always be relevant to all use cases.
